1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ApplyRight ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Credits and Subscriptions

ApplyRight operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive a one-time allocation of credits. Paid subscriptions provide monthly credit allocations that reset each billing cycle. Additional credits may be purchased as top-ups and do not expire.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorization
• Use generated content to misrepresent your qualifications in a manner that constitutes fraud

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by ApplyRight and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you upload (resumes, personal information). Content generated by the Service (critiques, variants, cover letters) is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.

6. AI-Generated Content

ApplyRight uses artificial intelligence to analyze resumes, generate critiques, create resume variants, and write cover letters. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and guidance. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in employment or career advancement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyRight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@applyright.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal dispute resolution.
